The Greens

I am still playing catch up with this post! Here are some more pictures from the hospital and shortly after arriving home (I just got the pictures my Dad took).

Trying to get the perfect picture for the birth announcement.

Family of Four

It has been brought to my attention that it is time to update the blog. We have had a few changes since the last post. The best being that Baby Bryson decided to join us! He was born on September 16, 2011 at 11:11am. He weighed 7 pounds and was 21 inches long. The past four weeks have been both exciting and exhausting!

My water broke around midnight and Dustin and I headed to the hospital. I started having contractions at 5am and received my epidural around 7:45am. I rested while Dustin did some work via the laptop computer. I was fully dilated and ready to push at 10:15am. The nurse called Dr Lebel, who was seeing patients at the office, and Bryson was born after only 3 sets of pushes. This was a welcomed surprise after pushing for 2.5 hours with Graham! Bryson had the same head full of jet black hair as his big brother did. Graham joined us at the hospital and met Bryson. He was more impressed with his new "Big Brother" bag of goodies than he was the new baby!

Bryson and I came home after the usual two night stay in the hospital. Graham immediately introduced his trucks and 'babies' to Bryson. He is very sweet and attentive to Bryson. Graham has had a few behavioral problems, but all revolve around making sure he's getting his attention.

Our house is wild all the time now! Our days are filled with laughing, crying, diaper changing, bathing and feedings. And although I am tired, I wouldn't change it for the world. I'm looking forward to the 7 weeks I have left at home on maternity leave.
