More Friends

This week we had Rivers over to play. Rivers is 7 months old and enjoyed watching Graham play. Graham did very well with Rivers until Aunt Heather came to visit. He did not like her holding Rivers. Graham was much happier when Rivers went down for a nap and he had Heather's undivided attention!
The weather was beautiful this past weekend. We were able to play outside, go for walks, and wash the car. The whole family enjoyed this little bit of spring.

Friends

These past few weeks have been filled with fun visits from friends. Some of our visitors live in town and some have been from out of town.
Brooke is one of Graham's girlfriends. She came and played with us one day when her day care was closed. They played very well together. The only time we had a problem is when I held one. If I was holding Graham, Brooke would cry. If I was holding Brooke, Graham would cry. Unfortunately, they were too big for me to hold at the same time!

All the Clamps (Luke, Alecia, Ian, Len, and Nicole) and David came to visit this weekend also. We thought the snow was going to postpone our visitors, but they all made it to Greenville. Ian, almost 2 years old, and Graham had a great time together. Dustin, Len, Luke, and David had fun together too!

Graham continues to be constantly on the go. He is so much fun to be around, but we are all tired at the end of the day! He still enjoys hiding behind chairs and playing with all of his toys. He in still not really talking but he understands what you tell him. He runs to the door to let Maggie out and to greet Dada in the afternoon. He will go to his highchair if you ask him if he wants breakfast/lunch/dinner/ or a snack. He splashes and plays with all of his toys in the tub at night. He also helps around the house. His chores include throwing his diapers in the trash can, unloading the dishwasher, putting the coffee filter in the coffee pot,and moving the clothes into the dryer.

Snow Day

We were hoping Graham would enjoy the snow more this year, but he did not. Maybe next year he will like it! He cried while we were outside. Sounds like he takes after his Mama and doesn't like to be cold! Here are pictures from our short stay outside in the snow.

Wild Man

Graham continues to grow more wild as the days go by! He loves playing chase, "hiding" from us, and riding in the laundry basket.

Graham said his first word this week and it was "Mama!" We were all standing in the kitchen this weekend and Graham looked at me and said Mama! Dustin and I both heard him. He has not said it since though.
Graham has also learned to clap and now enjoys feeding us as well as himself.

Graham had a fever last week and was pitiful. He was better the next day and like new days later.

A few more parting shots...

Finally, A New Post!

A lot has happened since the last post. We have moved into our new house, celebrated Graham's first Christmas and hosted Graham's birthday party.
The new house is wonderful!

We moved in on December 11 and have not stopped since then. We replaced the downstairs windows, hung blinds, painted, changed light fixtures, put shutters on the outside and added shelving to the closets. The only thing we have left to do is put up a gate. That is scheduled to be complete on January 28th.

Graham turned one on December 29th. We celebrated with a birthday party on January 9th. We had such a great time. He is one loved baby! He enjoyed his cupcake, but his favorite thing was being the center of attention.
Graham went for his 12 month well child check last week and all checked out well. He weighed 25 lbs 7 ounces and was 31.5 in long. He is still taking after his Daddy with his height! He is walking (very well), waving hello, feeding himself and becoming very independent. He does not like to be told "no." He is still a sweet baby but he is hard-headed. We cannot figure out where he gets it from!

The whole family enjoyed Graham's first Christmas! He was precious opening all of his presents. He looked from one toy to the next and just smiled.

Pictures catching the wild man in action!

Moving Week

Graham has been busy and learning all kinds of new things. He has learned to walk, sort his toys, feed himself, wave bye-bye, and to be sad when we leave him. I feel like he is learning something new everyday!
Graham took a few steps while my mom was keeping him last Tuesday. He has since taken a few more steps each day. He is still unsteady and prefers to crawl most of the time. He also waved bye-bye on Tuesday as Dustin was dropping him off at mom's house.
Dustin's mom cleaned up his old farmhouse toy and gave it to Graham. He loves it! He spends much of his time taking the animals out of the barn and putting them in other areas (diaper bag, drawers, bath tub, Maggie's food bowl, etc).
We took Graham to the doctor for his second flu shot on Friday. He now weighs 25 pounds 8 ounces and is 30.5 inches long.
We are closing in on our final days of packing before the movers get here on Friday! We are trying to pack, chase a baby, walk around a dog, and get all the details for the closing finalized. Luckily our wonderful family is helping.
Pictures of the house will soon follow!
